Elks Group Overnight Stay- Wednesday 7/23

Elks participating in the Overstay on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, will enjoy an extended day of adventure, fun, and bonding at Valley Mill Camp!

After the regular camp day ends, campers will stay overnight to enjoy extra activities and a special evening program designed to deepen friendships and create unforgettable summer memories.

Overnight stay Schedule Highlights:

Afternoon Free Time & Special Games: After a snack break, campers will join in on team games and group challenges at the field and lake. Activities might include capture the flag, canoe relays, or an all-camp scavenger hunt.
Evening Cookout: A classic camp cookout dinner will be served hot dogs, burgers, and watermelon. Or any other food of campers choice. All enjoyed picnic-style near the campfire circle.
Campfire & Songs: As the sun sets, campers will gather around the fire for storytelling, sing-alongs, and s’mores. Counselors and campers alike will share jokes, skits, and favorite camp traditions.
Nature Hike or Twilight Canoe (optional): Depending on group size and weather, campers may get to go on a short twilight paddle or hike to enjoy the beauty of the woods as dusk settles over the lake.

Campers should bring a change of clothes, a flashlight, and a water bottle.
