Adventure Camp Thurs-Fri 8/7-8 – Valley Mill Camper Forms

Rocky Gap (Camping)

The Adventure Group will arrive to camp on Thursday am and help prepare the vehicle for the overnight trip. The group will depart from VMC at approximately 10 am and head towards Rocky Gap State Park in Flintstone, MD. We will stop at a grocery store to get food for dinner, smores, and breakfast. Upon arrival, we will check in to the camp site and get everything set up (Tents, etc.). We will then go to the lake and swim at the beach area. Around 6:00 we will walk back to our site and prepare dinner. After dinner we will have smores and a bonfire until it is time for bed.

In the Morning we will make breakfast and pack up camp. If we have time (depending how fast breakfast and packing up goes) we will do some fun activities. Campers should be back at Valley Mill in time to catch their bus home. We will make minimal rest stops on the way back for bathrooms and possibly snacks.
