Adventure Camp- Thursday 7/24

Delaware Sea Shore (Camping)

Once everyone has arrived we will together decide what we will be eating for dinner and breakfasts and plan the meals and stops. Then we will pack up the van and head out to buy what food we need. On our way we will make a stop for the bathroom and to buy snacks at a gas station or rest stop. Once we arrive we will set up tents and depending on the time we will go swimming at the beach, exploring, and explore the deep history on site. We will be back in time for dinner and relaxing activities. Campers will have a chance to hone their skills and earn certificates based on the skills they complete during this time. We will have smores and then head to bed for the night.

Please be mindful of the amount you pack as we have limited space in the Vehicle

What to pack:

SUNBLOCK & Bugspray

2 Lunches ( will not be refrigerated )

Sleeping bag

Sleeping pad

Pillow

Tent – please discuss if your camper will be sharing with another camper – contact Paul with questions.

Bathing suit

Sandals

Hiking Shoes

Refillable water bottle

Headlamp/flashlight

Warm clothes !!! Hoodie/pants (it can get cold at night)

Friday- 7/25

Delaware Sea Shore (Camping)

In the Morning we will make breakfast and pack up camp. If we have time (depending how fast breakfast and packing up goes) we will do some fun activities. Campers should be back at Valley Mill in time to catch their bus home. We will make minimal rest stops on the way back for bathrooms and possibly snacks.
