Patapsco Valley State Park (hiking)
Kids will arrive at camp at 9:00 am and we will do a headcount and leave immediately. We will head out to Patapsco Valley State Park and hike the Cascade falls loop trail. It is a 2.3 mile loop trail that takes an hour to complete. And it is considered to be the 2nd best hike in the state of Maryland. We will stop and eat lunch at the waterfall on the trail. Kids need to have a backpack with a water bottle and lunch in it. There are also many streams the kids can play in if they get too hot. After the hike is over, we will walk back to the van and drive back to camp and back at camp in time to catch the bus home.
