Trip Summary:

The Adventure Camp group will depart VMC after morning arrival and head towards Cunningham Falls State Park and the Hunting Creek Lake in Thurmont, MD. The trip will depart VMC at approximately 9:30 am and drive to the William Houck area of the Cunningham Falls State Park at approximately 11:00 am, where they will park, hike to Cunningham Falls, and have lunch. The group will hike back to the parking lot, walk across the lot to the sandy beach of the Hunting Creek Lake. Campers will enjoy swimming and games on the sandy beach of the lake. The group will depart the park in time to arrive at VMC for the regular scheduled bus departure.
